Born in Ikorodu and bred in Lagos , Jonathan is a Deltalite. After his primary education, he attended United High School , Lagos (1991 - 1994) and studied Painting and Decoration at Government College , Lagos . He is at Present a student of General Art at Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State . He also runs an Art studio. Jonathan has taken part in a few group exhibitions such as De Emergence by the Selected Fellow Artists, Within Our Grasp by Yabatech in 2005, The Rebirth of Womanhood by Zagazar Art Foundation, Dance of Lyrical lines, Annual Peace Poster 2005 by African Cultural Centre and National Museum Day Exhibition in 2006. In combination with his academics, he also practises Araism with a passion, having undergone artistic training under Mufu Onifade at his Ara Studio in 2003.

STATEMENT
“Araism is much more painstaking when compared with other techniques in Art, but its effect of interlocking strokes on the canvas are as satisfying as a cold drink on a sunny day. Just as the work of the creator is filled with wonders, so ore the wonders of expression of one's creativity.”
